Dear Esteemed Colleagues,

Greetings from ASI Headquarters.

I am delighted to see the Newsletter of ASI Chennai City Branch is being published after a long time.

Publication of newsletter is a welcomed step and I hope this will provide a good platform for interactions amongst our members.

As all of you know we are the part of ASI, which is the 2nd largest Surgical Association in the Globe with a membership strength of more than 30,000.

I hope you all must be watching the ASI Academic activities which includes Regional Refresher courses (RRC), National Skill Enhancement Programs (NSEP) and Social Service activities.

I would like to express my gratitude to each member of the Association who have blessed me all the time and given me the strength to work for safeguarding interest of the organisation.

I also promised to make ASI stronger and vibrant and my roadmap to achieve this objective is very simple “Fewer are better” “achieve more than you dream”.

Another thing to make the organisation stronger is our membership and I request each and every member to encourage every eligible person to enrol themselves as ASI member and the formula is very simple “each one bring one” and the time is not far when we will actually double our membership.
